Since "Curse of the Bayou" centers around a pirate curse and lost treasure, a treasure chest spilling over with doubloons seemed natural.

I love the treasure chest with the light spilling out, Cynthia's Attic font, and the color. I love everything about it.

My publisher choose the color. She always envisioned purple for "Curse of the Bayou. The first two books in the series are green and red.
