Point Surrrender by Anne Carter

Did you design the cover?
I chose the photograph and suggested the font/layout.

Did your publisher design the cover?
No.

Did you get to give any input about the cover design?
See above.

Is there an interesting story behind the cover design? If so, please share the details.
Although POINT SURRENDER takes place in a fictional California lighthouse, the structure in the story is patterned after Heceta Head Lighthouse in Florence, Oregon. I gave sample photos of Heceta Head to the cover artist, and the publisher decided to purchase the rights to the best one.

Who is the cover artist?
Nathalie Moore

Are you happy with the cover?
Very happy with the cover!

If not, what would you change and why?
Nothing

Tell us what you think is the best part of the cover.
Because the lighthouse is central to the story, having it on the cover is paramount. Also, the beam coming from the lighthouse is slightly "starred", giving it a mysterious aura, which fits with the plot.

Is there anything else about your cover that we need to know? Feel free to share.
Can you see the ghost?
